Carringtons Catering Host Exclusive Lunch at Liverpool Town Hall for City’s Top Decision Makers

Carringtons Catering welcomed more than 30 of the city’s key decision makers, tourism chiefs and leaders as part of an exclusive lunch at Liverpool’s historic Town Hall.

The event, held in association with Downtown in Business and Claire House Children’s Hospice, saw guests enjoy a luxury three-course meal courtesy of Master Chef of Great Britain Darren Wynn and his team.

Director of Carringtons Catering, which is a Roby Mill based catering firm with more than 35 years of experience, Helen Wynn said: “It was an honour to have be given the chance to play host to a high number of key corporate figures from all over the city including MP Alison McGovern who took part in a unique question and answer session.

“As the official food and beverage providers of the iconic Liverpool Town Hall since 2014, we have catered for hundreds of events at the stunning venue from weddings, dinners, Mayoral ceremonies and lunches such as these; often with high-profile public figures in attendance. Our reputation for providing culinary excellence, together with a first class dining experience, has earned us a great corporate presence and it is certainly rewarding to be chosen time and time again to cater for occasions such as this one.”

Guests participated in topical discussions surrounding the Northern Powerhouse, health, transport and the future City Region agendas.

Devised in-line with the tone of the event, the menu consisted of creative starters including Mosaic of Pigeon, Chicken and Duck with Pistachio, Pickled Vegetables and Toasted Brioche alongside Pressed Tomato and Goats Cheese with Pickled Vegetables. For mains, diners tucked in to Roast Sirloin of Beef, Ravioli of Short Rib, “Pommes Anna” Potatoes and Bone Marrow as well as Pithivier of Asparagus and Smoked Apple Wood, Chervil and Asparagus Veloute. Those with a sweet tooth then enjoyed White Chocolate, Chocolate Soufflé and Praline Dome with Passion Fruit Olive Oil Spheres.
